I also liked the Terminus Legion chants from the announcement.

"ATL GIVE 'EM HELL"

And

"Oh, ATL...ATL ATL ATL"

Whenever we play Orlando we should sing the Mickey Mouse club song.

Hey all, new user thought I'd throw in an idea..

It may be borrowing from Chelsea... but our color's will be red, black and gold, we could do our own rendition of "keep the ____ flag flying high"...

to the tune of "oh Christmas Tree/ O Tenanbaum"

From the Big Apple to the Rose City We'll keep the black flag flying high

Oh flying high, up in the sky,we'll keep the black flag flying high.

From the Big Apple to the Rose City, We'll keep the black flag flying high.

Locations could obviously be changed to match our stadium vs. our rival stadium.. or whatever.

just a thought!

If our name is Terminus, or anything historically related, End of the Line..  Think Johnny Cash "I walk the line".

"Because you're mine, its the End of the Line"  (you're mine... as in you're ass in mine Orlando)

I think we should sing "Georgia on my mind" at the start of every match like Liverpool sing You'll never walk alone.

Agreed. There's seems to be a lot of people who want this to happen so I'm hopeful.

Now we just need to make sure everybody knows more than the chorus. lol

Or we could do something a little less on the nose. I'm all for a song like Georgia On My Mind, but sometimes it's more fun to have some song out of left field like "Sweet Caroline" with the Red Sox or "Hey Baby" at various college games (I'm partial to that one as a Georgia Southern alumnus)

But then again, GOMM does have a cool Liverpool YNWA feel to it so I'm pretty down for that too. And for people not remembering the lyrics, it should be played over the sound system if it's pre-match like at Anfield so people could learn pretty easily (and there'd still be noise for when people are mumbling the parts they don't know.

Figure if Black Harts win... Perhaps one of the biggest karaoke songs of all time "I love Rock and Roll" would become a chant.

This could be an awesome song to be sung.  The tune is iconic and could sound pretty incredible.  The words could be adjusted to fit the team.  People might have an easier time learning since they should be familiar to the tune.

Swing Low, Sweet Chariot

Yes yes! And possibly, if it's sung during the game just as a general song to sing, fans could let it get progressively faster in tempo while clapping along. That tune at least has my vote.

Just throwing this out there, and feel free to edit it.

To the tune of "Father Abraham"

"Uncle Arthur Blank, had many sons.

And many sons had Uncle Arthur Blank

I am one of them, and so are you.

So let's go A-T-L."

And clap along while making the tempo faster and faster on each repeat.

...Super duper simple and I'm pretty sure no one else in MLS does that tune.

I have an idea on which I would like to hear some thoughts: Have the entire stadium remain silent for the 64th minute of every match. And then, of course, go crazy for the remaining 24.

Background:

1. Well placed silence can be louder than noise.

- Check out Taylor University's annual "Silent Night Game" - http://espn.go.com/b...ition-continues

2. 1864 - The Fall of Atlanta & The Beginning of its Rebirth

- Call me sentimental or a history guy, but I like the thought of remembering the bad and commemorating the good. Along with our new team playing inside our new stadium, engraining our history would surely make a statement about who we are as Atlantans. We may get knocked down, but we will rise.

Here is what I picture... 75,000 crazy football/soccer fans supporting our boys in red, black, and gold for the first time in our new, kick ass stadium. The second half begins and the crowd goes crazy with screams, applause, and awesome Atlanta chants. When the clock strikes 64:00, the entire stadium falls completely silent. The only sounds come from the ball being kicked and the players' grunts. The silence is almost deafening as hearts pound and tensions and anticipation rise. 64:55... 64:56... 64:57... 64:58... 64:59... 65:00 BOOM! The stadium erupts in a cacophony of screams, yells, and cheers. The thundering roar of the crowd startles the opponents and bolsters our boys for the next 25 minutes and on to victory.

What do y'all think?
