Dempsey looks tapped at 70'. And sure enough there's Pulisic on the sidelines ready to come in.

While I'm disappointed that the result was not in our favor, I'm also encouraged in some things. A lot of work to do to take the next step up. There were aspects that showed improvement but from top to bottom, there's a lot of work to do. It will be interesting to see how much is accomplished in the next two years before the World Cup. Oh yeah, and the ref sucked!

We played better than we have in a long time in this game.
Silverbacks had and have bad ownership otherwise they would be in NASL still. Their owner doesn't care.
Pro/Rel would cause some clubs to fold, but others would rise and more would rise than fold. FC Cincinnati pulls 15k(+) crowds regularly. With good ownership will come good teams. Without prorel, what reason is there to have good ownership really? And what reason is there to not suck? none...

Worst starter on the team.
It is the pressure that gets to him... He is great in friendlies, then in the tournament he did that... Need to at the least take captain away from him for sure. Not sure who to give it too though... Maybe Brooks if he is a leader?

The final comes and goes without a comment from any of us.
First half was beyond brutal. While the ref made some bad no-calls and some bad calls he at least got through to both teams that he was going to continue throwing out cards if they didn't reign in the out-of-control charging. But I didn't think they'd respond in the second half as if they'd all taken quaaludes. Two massively different halves. Then it comes down to PK's and wow was that a complete fubar by Argentina. Congrats to Chile even though I thought Argentina was the better team. Messi, what a mess.
