I would think they could utilize the venue with the roof in a fixed position while they work to fix the operating mechanism(s).  I've long thought that the CFA kickoff game was the drop dead date to open.  I am guessing that the venue will be useable by then, but the roof will not be functional and will be in the open position until after the coming NFL season is over.

 

The downside of such a unique and complex design is there is no guide.  There is no example to look at for a solution.

Yep, not happy about this but it is what it is. At least getting a partial refund on the Minnesota match. Trying to put a positive spin on the debacle is at least we won't have to endure the rest of the summer in the heat after that match. I'm guessing once they get the Falcons schedule in concrete then they'll have a better idea of when the August matches can be rescheduled. I'm hoping for October dates because there's already 5 matches in 3.5 weeks in September.
